NEWS: Aqua ViTea’s Mulled Cider Kombucha Returns for the Fall Season

As the Vermont air turns crisp and foliage begins to color, Aqua ViTea’s popular Mulled Cider Kombucha is back on tap for the fall. Made with Vermont apples and savory spices, this popular seasonal flavor returns for its ninth year and will (cinnamon) stick around through December.

“It doesn’t feel like fall in Vermont until the Mulled Cider Kombucha is flowing,” said Aqua ViTea Founder Jeff Weaber. “We’re excited to once again deliver this refreshing taste of autumn to Aqua ViTea taps throughout the country.”

Weaber noted that the apples used in Mulled Cider come from Champlain Orchards in Shoreham, Vermont. Aqua ViTea also uses premium, organic black and green teas that are carefully curated from around the world by Stone Leaf Teahouse in Middlebury. Like all Aqua ViTea flavors, Mulled Cider is verified non-alcoholic and gluten-free, and will be made available to markets, grocery chains, restaurants, schools and hospitals that carry Aqua ViTea on tap.

Aqua ViTea pioneered the on-tap kombucha system, an approach that allows Kombucha lovers to buy in bulk and blend flavors to their liking. More importantly, Aqua ViTea’s fountains eliminate thousands of pounds of glass waste every year by enabling customers to refill bottles and growlers. Overall, Aqua ViTea is currently sold at over 1,500 locations in more than 20 states.

Aqua ViTea is celebrating Mulled Cider season by bringing back Sasquatch, who, as local legend has it, invented this unique flavor of Kombucha after foraging for natural ingredients in the Green Mountains. Sasquatch’s adventures are currently being chronicled on Aqua ViTea social channels (Instagram: @aquaviteakombucha, Facebook.com/AquaViTea).

Founded in 2007, Aqua ViTea is a premium beverage maker located in Middlebury, Vermont. Aqua ViTea makes 10 flavors of organic, gluten-free, non-alcoholic Kombucha, which is never pasteurized and contains natural probiotics. It also produces organic, gluten-free Aqua Vodka, created from the alcohol extracted from its Kombucha.
