Celebrity chefs
Maneet Chauhan (
Food Network's Chopped) and
Tanya Holland (
OWN's Tanya's Kitchen Table, Bravo's Top Chef) join Thistle Farms founder
Becca Stevens in hosting a worldwide tea party in celebration of International Women's Day on
Monday, March 8 at 5 pm ET/4 pm CT/2 pm PT. The online event,
“Tea & Justice Virtual Tea Party,” is free and open to the public. For more information and to register, visit

The one-hour discussion will commemorate International Women's Day by exploring the mindful consumption of tea and its role in the growing movement for women's freedom around the world.
Becca Stevens remarks: “I am thrilled to welcome my good friend Tanya and my new friend Maneet in sharing a healing cup of tea with the world as we celebrate International Women's Day. The very ritual of tea and the community it fosters allows us to learn from one another, reflect on those who paved the way for us and initiate action towards justice and equality for all women.”
As part of "Tea & Justice," Stevens will highlight women artisan survivors involved in
Thistle Farms' Global Shared Trade initiative. This multi-continent effort addresses sexual exploitation, trafficking and extreme poverty through an aligned network of business enterprises that supports women's dignity and economic freedom.
This is the second "Tea & Justice Virtual Tea Party" hosted by Becca Stevens and Thistle Farms. The first online event coincided with the 100th Anniversary of Women's Right to Vote, and was co-hosted by humanitarian Fiona Prine and celebrity chef Tanya Holland.
