MEMBER NEWS: Simpson and Vail re-creates a Christmas classic in a new tea blend

Simpson & Vail is excited to announce a new holiday tea – Figgy Pudding – to their popular holiday tea line.

In “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”, the popular English Christmas song, carolers sing “Oh, bring us some figgy pudding….” and Simpson & Vail is delivering with this delicious tea blend.  The green tea base of Figgy Pudding holiday tea blend perfectly carries a full flavor with a smooth, creamy taste. The delightful aroma and tantalizing taste are reminiscent of weekends in Grandma's cozy kitchen!

The inspiration for this blend came from Sarah at Fancy That, a tearoom in Walpole, MA.  She said “If you're ever looking for a new tea to develop, I would love someone in America to create a Christmas/Figgy Pudding Tea.  Every year I search but can't find anything in the states.”  Thanks to Sarah Simpson & Vail is now proudly offering this in their holiday line.

The full line of Simpson & Vail’s holiday teas includes: Candy Cane Organic Rooibos, Figgy Pudding (Green Tea), Gingerbread Black Tea, Holiday Blend Tea, Nutcracker Blend Tea, Roasted Chestnut Rooibos, St. Nick’s Black Tea, Sugar Plum Fairy Rooibos, Valentine’s Tea Blend and Winter Wonderland Rooibos.

More information on each of these delectable teas can be found on the Simpson & Vail website https://www.svtea.com/Holiday-Teas/products/162
