In response to tea-lover demand, Stash Tea Company is bringing back its popular White Christmas tea available exclusively online beginning today. The seasonal favorite, available for a limited time only at StashTea.com while supplies last, is a cheerful blend of delicate white tea, Pacific Northwest peppermint and warming ginger.

After White Christmas tea bags were discontinued in 2016, fans sent a flurry of requests to Stash Tea and flooded social media channels with demands to bring back the holiday favorite. Among the requests was one customer explaining she was “dependent on White Christmas tea on a molecular level” and how another tea loyalist would drive “forty miles just to purchase [White Christmas].” Responding to the outcry from avid brand fans, the company decided to make their holiday wishes come true.

“White Christmas has been a cult favorite since its initial introduction,” said Daniel Kerbel, Global Marketing, R&D, and eCommerce Director of Stash Tea. “We wanted to honor the request of our loyal brand fans and bring back White Christmas as a special occasion during this festive time of year.”

Perfect for awakening the holiday spirit, inspiring festive cocktail recipes or warming up on a cold day, this aromatic blend will tantalize the senses. Like all Stash Tea products, White Christmas is made from all-natural ingredients and is free from artificial colors, sweeteners or preservatives. It is Non-GMO Project Verified, Kosher Pareve, and gluten-free. The tea bags are free from microplastics, made from 100 percent cellulose fibers.

The limited-edition White Christmas release is the latest addition to the expanded lineup of Stash Tea products, following a monumental year for the brand. Stash recently unveiled its new brand positioning, aimed to move away from the cozy imagery of drinking tea and instead, inspiring consumers to be bold as the rebels and rulers of their own lives. The new positioning is anchored in a quirky new ad campaign.

Born in a Portland basement in 1972 by two hippies seeking to reach euphoria through tea, Stash continues to be committed to creating the most vibrant variety available while moving consumers away from experiencing tea as just a box on a shelf.

White Christmas is now available online for $3.95 for a box of 18 tea bags. To learn more about Stash Tea and check out their full line of bold flavors – including four other holiday teas: Christmas Morning, Christmas Eve, Christmas in Paris and Holiday Chai – visit stashtea.com.
