Greetings Tea Room Owners,
We would like to share with you feedback from other tea room owners.
It seems most of the tea rooms carrying The Tea House Times have created a VIP program of sorts. Why is it working so well for them? Because The Tea House Times only costs $1.25 each when ordered in bulk. You aren’t spending a lot of money on your “giveaway”.
Think about your local sandwich shop that punches a card every time you come in. After 12 sandwiches you get one free. Cost approx $5. You can create the same type of thing for your tea room, but you don’t want to give away a full afternoon tea, or a free gift from your shop because the cost is too high.
You can create a VIP Program by using cards to punch or initial for your customers when they visit or make a purchase from your tea room, or you can simply post a sign that The Tea House Times is free if customers spend a certain $ amount in your shop. What is your average sale? Is it $10? Then post the sign for Free with $15 spent. Boost your sales, educate your customers and share your passion for Afternoon Tea all at the same time.
Or create a punch card for dollars spent and when they reach a certain amount, The Tea House Times is free. Or create a punch card for # visits to your tea room and give it away free to those customers who are regulars. This has become so popular, many of our tea rooms need more than 50 of each issue of The Tea House Times.
Anything goes. Use your imagination. You can create an inexpensive card on your computer using perforated business cards you can purchase at your local office supply shop. OR, we have cards featuring a woman drinking tea or a floral design we can create for you; reasonably priced. Your giveaway to VIPs can be The Tea House Times, a free dessert, a free pot of tea or something similar. We can custom create punch cards for you to give to your customers. Customers are really enjoying The Tea House Times because it reminds them of the pleasant experience of your tea room and every time they come across it in their reading materials they will be reminded to make another reservation. You might think about our personalized insert page also. On this page it’s all about your tea room. Having special events? Want to give your customers a little more history about your business? We create a special page about your business and insert it into each issue that your customers will receive. Custom pages/newsletters also available. You can decide to have us create it and you make your own unlimited # of copies or have us do it all for you.

PS You could also print a sign-off area on the back of your regular business card. Just like they do at the nail salons!
