When the show opened in October, The Denver Post’s John Moore cheered “HATS! is an affirmative celebration of later womanhood. It’s event theater. It's catharsis and cake. It's a costume party. It's Friday-night bowling. It's a revival. An untapped, ever-flowing gold mine with tender moments of endearing songs.”

The Red Hat Society is a self-proclaimed dis-organization for women over 50 from all walks of life who come together for one reason: to have fun.
