WHAT IS THE MID ATLANTIC TEA BUSINESS ASSOCIATION? The Mid-Atlantic Tea Business Association was founded to offer learning opportunities as well as afford the chance to network with other tea business professionals. They intend to promote increased awareness of the many businesses in the mid-Atlantic region. Essentially, members are tea professionals helping one another grow their businesses. The Association encompasses Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, and Delaware. Any tea business professional in this region is eligible to join, and is encouraged to do so.
Annual dues entitle each tea professional to attend the annual seminar at a discounted rate, opportunities to participate in the association's co-op advertising and/or be included in a tea room brochure (additional fees apply), email updates and notices, access to the Association's Yahoo Group for continuing support and networking, and cross promotional partnership.

FUNDRAISER TEAS TO BENEFIT BREAST CANCER AWARENESS - October, 2007
Businesses of The Mid-Atlantic Tea Business Association are throwing a Tea Party for Breast Cancer. A regional fundraising effort to support Breast Cancer Research is going to be held at various locations and tea rooms in the NJ-MD-DE-PA areas on Sat. October 13th and/or Sun. October 14th with participating members of the Mid-Atlantic Tea Business Association. Partnering with the Susan G. Komen Fund and in conjunction with their “Passionately Pink for the Cure” campaign, the businesses listed below will hold a Tea Party/Fundraising Event.
Support the participating members of the Association, and a percentage of the sales will be directed to breast cancer research. Tea Rooms, gift shops, and guest speakers will all be participating in this first annual event.
A special tea blend, Passion Pink, has been developed by Mim Enck of the East Indies Tea Company and is specifically formulated to be high in anti-oxidants and other health properties. This blend will be available for purchase and also be served at participating tea rooms in the Mid-Atlantic region encompassing NJ-MD-DE-PA during this unique cooperative fund raising event.
Association members are excited about this opportunity to combine their passions for tea and to find a cure for breast cancer. Contact your local tea room to see if they are participating or visit www.MidAtlanticTeaBusinessAssociation.org for additional details.
