Celebrating HOT TEA DAY Ė Today! January 12. by Gail Gastelu

Tuesday, January 12th 2016 @ 8:10 AM

Apparently yesterday was National Clean Off Your Desk Day Ė oops, I missed the boat on that one. †I also heard it was National Hot Toddy day. OK, I missed that too but at least it fits into tea world. No matter how you feel about these proclamations of national, amusing, holidays, itís all about fun and finding a few minutes to celebrate a special interest, hobby, or industry overall. Itís a hoot for news and marketing too!

For the tea industry, National Hot Tea Month each January truly is hot-hot-hot. The introduction of a dedicated Hot Tea Day for the very first time this year presents a unique marketing opportunity for all tea industry businesses. Thatís what most of these ďnational daysĒ are for, really. And, itís teaís turn now. This is our month! Todayís our day! Letís celebrate together, shall we?

January is a time for healthy resolutions and tea is the perfect solution for adding a healthy beverage to your daily diet. Skip those sugary drinks, try some tea or try a new tea that you have not experienced before.† Make this month about discovering new teas and new ways to market tea in a growing, quickly expanding, U.S. market. Study whatís trending or ask me! Simply follow The Tea House Times news or my blog and you will quickly catch up.

This month my inbox is overflowing with tea related news releases as businesses begin to launch new products, announce latest innovations, and find new ways to connect to tea loving consumers during Hot Tea Month and beyond. What is your business doing today or this month to celebrate? How will you flaunt your personal passion for quality tea and tea experiences? Iíd love to hear your plans.

Please comment or contact me. Send your tea related news to me.

Statistically, we will likely double or triple the amount of postings to The Tea House Times online tea news feeds simply because it is Hot Tea Month. With so many eyes and ears perking up to tea this month, donít miss the opportunity to promote your tea products, tea experiences, or find ways to add tea and related news or trending topics of interest to your own e-news, corporate newsletter, social media, website, and seek coverage in newspapers, publications, TV, or radio. If you are not sure what to do, say, or share, I welcome your requests for assistance or public comment.† You might also like to make use of an image from the new #DrinkTea Campaign; itís an easy way to support the tea industry throughout the year.

Letís all celebrate Hot Tea Month!† Thank you for everything you do to generate or brew up your own news or interest in tea overall. Your success gives us something to talk about! We must all #worktogether to see more things happen in the tea industry. Today will be super-hot.† Letís get excited about each small step towards shared objectives and plan for a great year ahead.
