Sunday, February 5th 2017 @ 3:20 PM

Las Vegas, NV—Tealet and Joy’s Teaspoon, both of Las Vegas, are proud to present the second annual Southwest Tea Festival at Lucky Dragon Casino and Hotel. The city’s first and only tea festival was launched with great success in 2016 with over 600 people in attendance. The 2017 event has been extended to two days and looks forward to a move into Las Vegas’ premier Chinese culture casino which is home to one of the country’s most exciting teahouses.

“Vegas is building an incredible tea scene and the Southwest Tea Festival gives us a chance to showcase the businesses and cultural groups that are contributing to that growth,” says Joy’s Teaspoon owner, Naomi Rosen. The SW Tea Fest will kick-off at 10:00am on Saturday, February 25th, 2017, at the Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino. “We are excited to showcase the tea and art culture of the Southwest and hope Vegas locals and travelers check out what the festival has to offer,” says Tealet’s CEO, Elyse Petersen. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased ahead of the event at www.swteafest.com

Aside from the many cuppings, samplings, and tastings, the SW Tea Fest will also feature a Sans Self Tea Ceremony, Gong Fu Tea Ceremony, and special presentations and educational sessions will be held throughout both days.

The first 700 attendees through the doors will receive Swag Bags that have been provided by Lucky Dragon, Tealet, Joy’s Teaspoon, Kleff Tea, and Purple Cloud Tea House.
