The International Restaurant & Foodservice Show will offer 480+ exhibiting companies on an expansive show floor showcasing the newest products and services for the industry.  Special feature areas include The Pub, The Japan Pavilion, The Food Trends Experience, Taste NY Food & Craft Beverage Showcase, The Beer and Burger Lounge - sponsored by Budweiser and One World Beef, the US Pastry Competition - sponsored by Paris Gourmet, and much more. The trade show and conference will take place March 6-8, 2016 at the Jacob Javits Center Convention Center in New York.

"The show floor will be buzzing with new feature areas including the Beer and Burger Lounge and The Pub," said Ron Mathews, Vice President, Restaurant and Foodservice Events Portfolio.  "We know our attendees enjoy learning about new products they can bring back to their restaurants and foodservice establishments and what better way to learn than in an interactive and entertaining way.  These special events and feature areas will provide that excitement."

  • Food Trends Experience - a tasting adventure providing direct access to products, flavors, and ingredients driving the most exciting, emerging trends in the market. The Food Trends Experience is the fastest and most convenient way to see, taste, discover, and learn about new culinary innovations that will inspire creative and fresh menu ideas, delight customers and drive profits.  
  • Taste NY Food & Craft Beverage Showcase - This showcase within the Food Trends Experience will bring attendees face-to-face with family farmers and purveyors who have made New York State one of America's leading suppliers of food and agricultural products. Food manufacturers will showcase a diverse array of quality products such as locally grown produce, syrups and sauces, cheese, honey, meats, pasta, wine and baked goods. 
  • The New Beer & Burger Lounge - This lounge, sponsored by Budweiser and One World Beef, was designed based on consumer demand for the best burger and beer combination.  Stop by to try out the East "meats" West burger bar, uniquely paired with brews from Anheuser Busch.  This is a great location on the show floor to relax and enjoy a delicious burger and an ice cold beer. 
  • The Expanded Pub - This showcase will feature the newest alcoholic beverages including craft beer, ciders, wines, spirits and more. Featured companies include: Balearic Beverage USA, Blue Point Brewing Company, Joe IPA, Stella Artois, Spiked Seltzer, Owl's Brew, Leffe, Senor Sangria, Bruce Julian Bloody Mary, Hoegaarden, Nagel, Bush & Wein, LLC, Pray for Snow, Singha Beer, Sixpoint Brewery and more! 
  • U.S. Pastry Competition - Rising stars of the pastry world will compete for the coveted title of Pastry Chef of the Year at Paris Gourmet's U.S. Pastry Competition taking place on Sunday, March 6.  The theme for the 2016 competition is Magic & Illusions and new for this year with be The Junior Competition where six finalists from four culinary schools will compete alongside the professionals.  The showpieces will be judged from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, with the awards ceremony at 4:00 pm.
  • Japan Pavilion ­- This is the 10th consecutive year that Azix, Inc. will be organizing the Japan Pavilion. They will be introducing a new Shochu area, as well as 3 days of seminars, hosted by Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association.
  • Culinary Demonstration Theater - an educational, interactive, and entertaining area for restaurant and foodservice professionals who want to stay abreast of what's hot in the food world. Featured presentations include: The Inaugural Torch Award presentation to Drew Nieporent, NEW Rapid Fire Challenge: Appetizer face-off, and the Beacon Award presentation to Celebrity Chef Sara Moulton.  Other demos will be presented by Stephen Yen from Paige Hospitality Group; Justine MacNeil from Del Posto; Celebrity Chef Anton Testino; New York Ingredient Demonstration in conjunction with the Farm to City Expo; and Certified Master Chef Fritz Sonnenschmidt.


The event will also offer over 35 education sessions within The Ferdinand Metz Foodservice Forum, all included with Show admission, focusing on Driving Sales and Reducing Costs, Catering, Winning Teams, Management, Menu, Operations, Hot Trends, and Customer Experience.  Session topics include a lively debate on changes on the tipping culture featuring Chefs Marc Murphy and Amanda Cohen; in addition to titles including: "So You Want to Have Your Own Cooking Show," "How to Resonate with Millennials," "Tips for Selling or Buying a Restaurant," "Accommodating Customer on Special Diets," "The Foodservice Council for Women" and much more.  For the complete scheduled of sessions, click here.

The 23rd Annual International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York will bring together thousands of foodservice, restaurant and hospitality professionals from New York State, and will feature more than 480 leading vendors, the Ferdinand Metz Foodservice Forum education sessions and buzz building special events.  This is the only event in New York exclusively serving the restaurant and foodservice industry, sponsored by the New York State Restaurant Association (NYSRA) and produced by Urban Expositions.
