Ravishing in Red

The Red Hatted Attitudes of San Diego County (California, United States) recently celebrated a Reduation for a Hatter who turned 50!  Queen Barbara Bare waxed a bit poetic for the occasion:

“Pink Hatter Debbi Fontanesi, on her 50th birthday
Shared her joy with flair
When surrounded by her sisters
As they blew bubbles in the air!!”

She continues, “Red Hat sisters lined both sides of the sidewalk, blowing bubbles, while Debbi Fontanesi walked between them and to the top of the stairs of the 1908 Victorian Tea House. I placed a Red Hat on her head and swore her in. She had to swear on her new Red Hat to spread the joy of Red Hatting, play with her whole heart as if she had found her second childhood and to try new activities with her Red Hat sisters. The rest of the afternoon was spent enjoying tea, fun and friendship!”

A Winter Tea

In February, The Hot Shots and the Flying Red Hats (both of Sandy Valley, Nevada, United States) attended an English High Tea!  These lovely ladies enjoyed fresh tarts and tea as well as classic tea sandwiches. There was nothing store bought about this luncheon! One attendee states, “There were about 20 of us (three full tables) and we visited and laughed the whole time.  I always have my camera in my hand, so I took lots of pictures. Cindy made Jenny this beautiful pillow for putting on such a wonderful event!” What a lovely way to spend a chilly winter day!
