Pink is the Color of Universal Love
Queen Halo, Marvell Phillips of The Red Halos (Reno, Nevada) recently hosted a beautiful tea! She says, “The attendees were charged with bringing a pink brooch. Why pink? Pink is the color of universal love - and the Brooch? Well, way back when, they were created to hold things together (think Roman men), so today we are using the brooch as a signifier of holding girlfriends together; pink is the symbol of the love we have for our girlfriends!” What a charming idea!
Red Hat Dancers Sweet Tea Party
Dancing Queen Mum Rhoda Friedman and her chapter, the Red Hat Dancers of MD (Lanham, Maryland), embarked on an adventure and tried a new teahouse! The ladies had a delightful time: the teahouse was hosting a Sweet 16 party at the same time, and the ladies enjoyed getting to meet the teenagers! The décor was charming, the food delicious, and best of all, the friendship was fabulous! The Red Hat Dancers can’t wait for their next outing!
