OUR NEW-REDESIGNED WEBSITE!

posted by TeaHouseTimesAdmin , PRINT ADS and TEA BUREAUFriday, October 23rd 2009 @ 8:46 PM

Welcome to our new website!  New design, same trusted resources - Since 2003.

Listen to the audio recording to learn about the changes and improvements to our website - the benefits to consumers and benefits to tea businesses and our advertisers. OR read the complete message transcribed below.  PRESS RELEASE below transcript --

Welcome to our re-designed website!  If you would like to hear about the changes, grab yourself a nice cuppa tea and I will chat with you about what’s new for consumers followed by what’s new for tea businesses and what’s new for our advertisers.

Since 2003 The Tea House Times has been dedicated to assisting busy tea room owners - helping them to connect with consumers - educate their staff - and find resources to keep their inventory fresh and interesting.

The Tea House Times began as a basic newsletter service to help tea rooms receive and share tea information with employees and customers.  Very quickly, we heard over and over again people wanted something to subscribe to.  So we then offered custom newsletter services for tea shops and a subscription based publication for consumers and tea business owners.  We continue this model today AND have expanded greatly over the years - connecting consumers with businesses and businesses to the resources, connections, and education they need by adding our Tea Bureau Directory and Tea Course.com online education.

What we hear from our subscribers is that they embrace each issue of The Tea House Times, sometimes reading it over and over again and sharing each issue with friends.. They Enjoy the content as it connects them to tea and all the different aspects of its enjoyment -not just focusing on any one area, but offering various columns about tea, recipes, travel, poetry, and different styles of tea service.  Our readers enjoy the connection our publication and their tea experiences provide to share with family and friends. All aspects of tea are enjoyed and touch us all in different ways.

The redesign of our website, effective November 2009, brings our readers closer to the information they crave.  The new website gives subscribers options - options to choose to have things ‘their way’.  If you would like to save a tree - log in and view the most recent issue of The Tea House Times on your computer.  If you do not want to wait for a print edition to arrive by mail, log in and print your own.  If you embrace the loveliness of each edition in full color, delivered to your door, subscribe in the traditional manner and receive a new issue every two months.

Our entire website is open to the public except for a few areas.  The Registered User, log-in area of our website allows visitors to view the most recent issue of The Tea House Times, download Free games and other Free documents.  Other Registered User Levels are Self Service Areas for our Advertisers - Establishments Serving Tea, Tea Speakers Bureau Members, and Tea Bureau members or our Print Advertisers for The Tea House Times

The Registered User level for Establishments Serving Tea gives the same benefits we have always offered for tea room owners to be listed on our website directory and inside each issue of TTHT.  This user level now accepts other types of business serving tea and the directory will indicate whether the tea is any type of sit-down service, justa cuppa, or a tea party caterer or tea party consultant.  Any type of Tea Service can check out the specifics of what is included in this ad level and monthly fees by clicking on the Advertising link on our home page left column.

The Registered User Level for Tea Speakers Bureau gives our Tea Speakers Bureau members the same benefits as before but at a reduced rate. Rather than grouping the speakers as part of Tea Bureau - Speakers now have a new level of their own with special benefits at a lower cost.

The Registered User Level for Tea Bureau basically encompasses all of our Print Advertisers for The Tea House Times.  In the past all 6x print advertisers in our publication received a bonus Tea Bureau membership complimentary ($400/yr value) as a bonus for committing to a full year of print advertising.  Some others chose to Join Tea Bureau separately without print advertising.  Now Tea Bureau benefits are for all print advertisers who register to log in.  Basically the fee is now lower and includes the smallest text, print ad in The Tea House Times, 3 links to your website at Tea Bureau, news and article postings each month, a dedicated Company Profile page and much more.  For less than you would have paid for print advertising alone, you now have all these benefits for one small monthly fee.

Once logged in at our website- all paid Ad Level users receive a special Self-Service area specific to their ad level.  The print advertising rates are at or below our lowest 6x rate for registered users who log in at our website.  In some cases you can even receive Rebates towards your advertising.  You will find more details upon log in.

Our advertisers tell us that one of the best things they receive from advertising in The Tea House Times is an educated consumer who reaches out to them to place orders on both retail and wholesale levels.  They also benefit from a level of trustworthiness and tell us that their business is viewed and judged with a perceived level of excellence because they advertise in The Tea House Times.

One of the many ways we add value for our advertisers is by helping them publicize their businesses in a number of unique ways. One of these is monthly news and article postings via Tea Bureau.  We are giving you the tools you need to help yourself - but you must toot your own horn - use the tools - become a self advocate!  Take advantage of our high traffic website to help promote your business further.  Other things we offer to help your business grow are direct mailings to tea room owners, co-op/shared cost advertising in other publications, and possible representation at trade shows.

So, now I ask you - What Aspect of -Tea- Touches YOU most?  Use The Tea House Times publication, our website and resources to connect with your own personal tea passion and share it with others.

Connecting consumers and businesses through Tea is our passion - what’s yours?

THE TEA HOUSE TIMES LAUNCHES COMPREHENSIVE NEW WEBSITE

Connecting Tea Businesses & Consumers to Quality Content and Resources

SPARTA, NJ, November 12, 2009 - Expanding upon services to connect businesses and consumers in the tea industry, The Tea House Times, LLC has launched a dynamic new, re-designed website at http://www.theteahousetimes.com.  The new site, which went live in November, 2009, is designed to interconnect The Tea House Times’ bi-monthly publication, Tea Bureau resources, tea information, tea news, featured columns, and Tea Course education with a modern flair and navigational ease.

The new modern layout of the website utilizes user friendly navigation links, archives for articles and news, and incorporates new registered user, self-service areas.  The self-service areas for registered users include a Free area for downloads or to view the most recent issue of The Tea House Times and other self-service areas for Advertisers.  One of the ad level features includes a new Company Profile page for registered print advertisers or Tea Bureau members. Each ad level features registered user discounted ad rates and rebates towards other services.

Acknowledging social media trends - the website allows Tea Bureau members to post news and articles each month, as in the past, but with better keywords and traffic building tools to help direct even more traffic to our advertisers.  “The more they post news and articles, the more chances to be seen and heard by our dedicated audience, says Gail Gastelu, Publisher of The Tea House Times.”  “Our advertisers are important to us, so we offer many value-added services and unique ways to promote their businesses - they simply have to take advantage of the tools we have always offered and can now do so directly through their self-service website access.”  Some users will also be offered “guest blogging” privileges.

The new home page offers direct links to most popular areas of the website and the top link bar and drop down menus ease navigation through information and resources.  Some RSS feeds will be available for certain areas within news and columns.  The online store offers options for ordering subscriptions, renewals, and tea related products.  Book reviews and Product reviews still have a place in The Tea House Times publication and are carried over to the website.  Video reviews will be added to future listings as well.

The new website was designed in house by The Tea House Times.  Private webpages for tea rooms or tea industry speakers are available as an additional service for those who need a web presence but not necessarily an entire website.

The Tea House Times, LLC publishes The Tea House Times six times per year.  The Tea House Times Produces TeaCourse.com education and the TeaBureau.com Tea Industry Directory.
