Executive Summit Kicks off Show Coaching Coffee Professionals Toward Excellence

Coffee Fest Heads to Big Apple in March

Seattle, Wash. – January 6, 2010– Coffee Fest’s signature Executive Summit headlines Coffee Fest as the traveling specialty coffee show makes its long-awaited trip to the Big Apple region, setting up shop at the Meadowlands Exposition Center on March 5-7, 2010.

The Executive Summit, a full-day event held on Thursday, March 4, precedes the three-day show, and culls from the industry’s top professionals to provide a bevy of networking and skill-building opportunities that attendees can apply directly to their business bottom line. The morning is devoted to educational sessions and the afternoon is dedicated to roundtables and informational sessions. A lunch banquet divides the day.

“The New York area is a burgeoning center of coffee culture,” says Greg Hartlein, Coffee Fest CEO. “Our Executive Summit pulls in talent from the Metropolitan New York area in an effort to create applicable lessons and take-aways for the participants. We look at the summit as a symbiotic arrangement – our presenters and attendees – peers -- learn from each other in a collaborative arrangement.”

Be In The Know

Summit attendees can immerse themselves in topical sessions that speak to the issues they grapple with on a daily basis: Business Essentials to Survive the Economic Firestorm; Strategies for Asset Protection, Cost Cutting and Employee Retention; and Social Media: How to Harness its Power to Build Your Business. Roundtable networking session topics include: Debt Management - Risks and Rewards of Various Financing Options; and The Current Economic Firestorm, When and How We Will Emerge; and Staffing and Labor Management.

Small Business Associaiton (SBA) programs and case studies will be reviewed by the New Jersey Small Business Development Council,  and A Fresh Marketing Strategy for This Economy will set attendees off on the right foot.
