~The latest issue looks great. ~I am a tea room owner and I found your excerpts on various vendors from the World Tea Expo and the Fancy Food Show most helpful.  It is a valuable resource for me to get new info.  Thank you for that resource at your website.  ~I liked the paper you used before for The Tea House Times.  It had an old, nicer feel; softer. ~The new look of The Tea House Times is lovely.  It's gorgeous.  Congratulations!  ~Thanks to your publication we found the HighSocietea House in Wayne, NJ  My friends and I enjoyed ourselves and some are taking their families back and one is booking a shower there.  ~ I LOVE love LOVE the new color look.  Very nice job!  Keep up the talented work.

~I enjoy your publication immensely! A reader in AZ  ~Thanks for the fine placement of my ad. Your publication looks so professional, and I really enjoy reading it. A reader in FL  ~We are thrilled with the response we have received from our advertising in your publication. A reader in PA  ~I love all the color--but especially like it when it’s the soft, lovely pastels. Although, being a Red Hatter myself, I loved the Nov/Dec 05 issue and the “celebration” of the Red Hat Society! Recently our Red Hat chapter had tea at Lisa’s Tea Treasures in Menlo Park, CA. They have another location in Campbell, CA. It’s the absolute best food I’ve ever had at a tea. Instead of the small sandwiches, etc., one can order from a menu and you won’t go away hungry.

~Thank you so much for taking the time to put the report together about the World Tea Expo, 2006.  I did make a copy and sat down with my favorite cup of tea and read all pages.  Great job!  I enjoyed reading it; it was like being there!  Gail Tobin, Tea 'n' Teddies, Etc., Long Beach, CA

~What a great website.  I have shared with all my friends and love the free games you share with us.  We are all going to do your cootie fortune teller game and make the cooties at a luncheon...six years of Red Hatting.  I am the Queen of our chapter, so it was great fun printing these off to do...even ladies our age love cooties!  We will also do the tea party scramble just before lunch.

We have 60 ladies coming!  Thanks for the great entertainment!

~Dear Lady Gayle, What a beautiful article I just finished reading in your most recent magazine.  It was so complementary and I have to say very much appreciated.  As I stated to you while we were together at the Charleston Tea Plantation, my parents and my sister worked so hard to pull it all together.  Reading your article confirmed what I had already witnessed, they did exactly what they set out to do~create an amazing place to visit to enjoy the beauty and the magic of tea. Thank you again for your kind words, they meant a great deal to all of us!  With warm regards, Cindi (Cynthia Bigelow, Co-President, R.C. Bigelow, Inc.)

~ I enjoyed the articles and information on flowering teas in the Jan/Feb issue. This past Christmas my niece gave me a small glass teapot and dainty cups along with a box of flowering teas. I enjoyed serving the flowering teas and received rave reviews from guests. They take tea time to the next level of beauty and relaxation as guests watch the flowering teas unfurl. Thank you for your lovely publication.  Tea-ruly yours, Lydia Harris, “A Cup of Tea with Lydia” columnist

~ Dear Gail, I just have to tell you how wonderful we found the Victorian House Scones!!! I want to take this opportunity to say thanks for the helpful information you make available to a small tea room like ours. And, I want to tell you a little story about these wonderful scones and how they saved the day for us . . . We promised a wonderful charitable organization that I would provide 200 scones for their annual fundraising event last Saturday. I had planned to start baking earlier that week so that I would not be facing this project at the last minute!!! Well, as things go, come Thursday, I had ZERO scones ready for this group. When I received the “special order” that Debbie Anderson so kindly rushed for me, we were saved. It was soooo easy to add a little almond paste and bake up those 200 scones in no time. The ladies at the event loved them and they really like us now too!!! Please share our feedback and comments about the Victorian House Scones and their wonderful employees!!! Thanks again!!! Joan Susi, Victorian Tea Garden, Pittsburgh, PA

~ Congratulations on growing again! You do a “tea”rrific job of keeping us atop new tea trends and more.

~Gayle, Just wanted to let you know, that I have been receiving calls from ladies that have seen our ad in The Tea House Times.  One was at a Red Hat event in Chicago and saw your Tea House Times, the other was a representative of Red Rose Tea offering us tea to serve and door prizes for our event.  So just let everyone know that advertising in The Tea House Times pays off.  I am sure we will get others who have seen our ad, but do not necessarily let us know they saw it in the Times. Thanks and we will continue to advertise each year. Harriet, Davenport Historical Society Quilts and Tea, Davenport, Florida
~
I want to express my thanks to you for all your kindness and willingness to help me whenever I have asked a question of any kind. Your magazine is so very nice, and I’ve been enjoying it this past year. Thank you for making it available to all of us who are tea drinkers both new and long time, like me. What would we do without it? That doesn’t bear thinking about! My cupboards runneth over with teapots. Their beauty is such a large part of our love and respect for taking tea, isn’t it? Please renew my subscription. Luane G, Corona, CA

~I receive The Tea House Times and I love it. If I do not have time to sit with a cup of tea when my issue comes in the mail, then I do not even browse through it. I wait for the time when I can devote as much time as possible to the magazine. I just can’t say enough about it. There are only 2 people that I even allow to hold it because I want it to stay perfect just like I receive them! I wish it would come every week. Rita Tellier, No. Kingstown, R.I.

~Hi Lady Gayle, Thank you for the books for my summer time reading. The Felicity line of American Girl books was very interesting. This young girl was from 1774. We as children of today didn’t have the responsibilities like the children in Felicity’s time did.  Let me give you a little background on the books I read. . . I have a copy of Christmas Teas of Comfort and Joy as featured on your NovDec issue cover...Nice job on your new Seal of Approval...Thanks for all you do to keep us tea enthusiasts informed.

~ Dear Gayle, I founded the Las Vegas Ladies Tea Society and it has quickly grown from 12 friends to over 160 in two years. I have seen many workaholics cured even if just for the sake of tea time. In years past ladies spent more time together, working, cooking, sewing, raising their children, and confiding in each other. I believe this has been lost in our busy schedules and work, outside the home. Now women can come together and create a safe retreat we all so desperately need. We now meet four times per year for some much needed rest, relaxation, fun and laughter basking in the warmth of friendship. Life is short, share a cup of tea with a friend, it is a Timeless Tradition.

~Thank you again for awarding Sugars by Sharon with your Seal of Approval. And, thanks, too, for offering the great business opportunity of your wholesale direct mailing service to tea room owners; I would like to participate again.  One thing I’m not going to do is to pull back on marketing.  When things get tough the one place that most businesses pull back from is marketing.  This is the very thing they shouldn’t do.
Sharon Esters,

~ I trust this finds you all happy and healthy. You know I read The Tea House Times from cover to cover - keep up the good work! It is a wonderful, informative publication, and it is a delight to read everything - each article has its own character and voice that permeates the reader. Love it to pieces.

~My husband and I recently enjoyed Nan Taylor’s second Tea Time Tutorial DVD which teaches you how to make fancy tea sandwiches served in tea rooms in six easy steps. Nan recommends serving five dainty sandwiches per person and tells how to garnish each sandwich to create an appealing tea plate. Nan’s 30-minute tutorial makes serving tea look easy. Happy tea times! Lydia E. Harris, “A Cup of Tea with Lydia” columnist
