~I LOVE the new glossy look!  Very nice!  ~I recently visited your website.  It's very nice! Please exchange links with my website.  I'm sure my visitors will find your site of interest.  ~The new look of The Tea House Times is marvelous!  The paper quality and the color pages really brings everything to life.  Well done!  ~I really enjoy reading The Tea House Times.  I'm amazed at what a big business tea is.  ~I want every issue ever published!  I was so impressed with your sample newsletter and your website.  I am using some of your games for my tea parties.  ~Thanks much for the very prompt service.  ~I just love your help!  Great marketing ideas.

Jan/Feb '06

~The latest issue looks great. ~I am a tea room owner and I found your excerpts on various vendors from the World Tea Expo and the Fancy Food Show most helpful.  It is a valuable resource for me to get new info.  Thank you for that resource at your website.  ~I liked the paper you used before for The Tea House Times.  It had an old, nicer feel; softer. ~The new look of The Tea House Times is lovely.  It's gorgeous.  Congratulations!  ~Thanks to your publication we found the HighSocietea House in Wayne, NJ  My friends and I enjoyed ourselves and some are taking their families back and one is booking a shower there.  ~ I LOVE love LOVE the new color look.  Very nice job!  Keep up the talented work.

~Your magazine is great! I love the interesting articles and glossy paper. Keep up the good work. A reader in MA
~I enjoy your publication immensely! A reader in AZ  ~Thanks for the fine placement of my ad. Your publication looks so professional, and I really enjoy reading it. A reader in FL  ~We are thrilled with the response we have received from our advertising in your publication. A reader in PA  ~I love all the color--but especially like it when it’s the soft, lovely pastels. Although, being a Red Hatter myself, I loved the Nov/Dec 05 issue and the “celebration” of the Red Hat Society! Recently our Red Hat chapter had tea at Lisa’s Tea Treasures in Menlo Park, CA. They have another location in Campbell, CA. It’s the absolute best food I’ve ever had at a tea. Instead of the small sandwiches, etc., one can order from a menu and you won’t go away hungry.

Check it out on the web: www.lisastea.com A reader and Red Hat Society member in CA

May/June '06

~I absolutely adore my Tea House Times.  I just cannot read enough about Victoriana, everything and anything in print on every topic related to that long gone era.  Please include more in each issue! Joan Susi, owner of The Victorian Tea Garden in Pittsburgh, PA.

~Your publication is so beautiful!  The new glossy paper looks so wonderful & professional.  Great, Great Job!

Scottie Asay, Royal Tea Cozies

~I'm a Tea House Times devotee~I love the magazine and can hardly wait to receive it every 2 months!

~Thank you so much for taking the time to put the report together about the World Tea Expo, 2006.  I did make a copy and sat down with my favorite cup of tea and read all pages.  Great job!  I enjoyed reading it; it was like being there!  Gail Tobin, Tea 'n' Teddies, Etc., Long Beach, CA

~What a great website.  I have shared with all my friends and love the free games you share with us.  We are all going to do your cootie fortune teller game and make the cooties at a luncheon...six years of Red Hatting.  I am the Queen of our chapter, so it was great fun printing these off to do...even ladies our age love cooties!  We will also do the tea party scramble just before lunch.

We have 60 ladies coming!  Thanks for the great entertainment!

Queen Shirley Jackson, queen of the Red Hat Society chapter,

~What a superb job you did on the review of the Charleston Tea Plantation.  Hope to get there some day.

Your newsletter gets better all of the time.  Nan Taylor, Tea Graces

~Thank you for sending the issue with the art of flirting with a fan.  Your paper is just beautiful and I love to get the new ones in the mail.  It is a very calming experience.  Thanks again.  Jane Wehr, The Victorian Tea Room in The Lillagaard B&B, Ocean Grove, NJ

~Dear Lady Gayle, What a beautiful article I just finished reading in your most recent magazine.  It was so complementary and I have to say very much appreciated.  As I stated to you while we were together at the Charleston Tea Plantation, my parents and my sister worked so hard to pull it all together.  Reading your article confirmed what I had already witnessed, they did exactly what they set out to do~create an amazing place to visit to enjoy the beauty and the magic of tea. Thank you again for your kind words, they meant a great deal to all of us!  With warm regards, Cindi (Cynthia Bigelow, Co-President, R.C. Bigelow, Inc.)

Nov/Dec '06

~I want to tell you how much we enjoy this publication.  I look forward to it . . . I also must tell you that we have used many of the vendors you mention in the publication and have always been so pleased with each of them.  "Every time we see mention of one of these vendors in the "times", it reassures us that as relatively new shoppe owners, we are doing so many things in the proper manner.  It really makes our day!  Thanks for all you do and please do keep on doing it!!!!!  Joan Susi, Victorian Tea Garden, Pittsburgh, PA

~The gift bags I ordered are even more beautiful than they appeared on the website!  These will be versatile and I know my customers are going to love them.  Thank you for providing such a unique item.  Best Regards, Marianne, Nellie's Tea & Gifts

~ I enjoyed the articles and information on flowering teas in the Jan/Feb issue. This past Christmas my niece gave me a small glass teapot and dainty cups along with a box of flowering teas. I enjoyed serving the flowering teas and received rave reviews from guests. They take tea time to the next level of beauty and relaxation as guests watch the flowering teas unfurl. Thank you for your lovely publication.  Tea-ruly yours, Lydia Harris, “A Cup of Tea with Lydia” columnist

My dream is to one day open a tea room in recognition of my British Heritage; my grandfather was born in England in 1885. Thank you for a wonderful and enlightening publication.   Sincerely yours, Kathy Smith

~Thank you so much for highlighting my fairies in your last issue AND thank you for the copies of the magazine. I am truly, truly honored. I have even received a fan note already! I love The Tea House Times. Thank you, thank you again. Susan Laird

~ Let me say how much I enjoy your publication. So much work goes into it and I love receiving it. I look forward to the time when it is going to be delivered! Thank you for helping me find the product I was looking for, I appreciate your help and services.

~I really want to thank you and hope you can help others to create a webpage just like mine. The web page for our shop is really taking off. People can now find me on the internet! When people Google me, we are always number one having our web page with The Tea House Times website! Nancy Caiafa, Nonna Rosa Cafe Tea Room, Olympia, WA

~ Dear Gail, I just have to tell you how wonderful we found the Victorian House Scones!!! I want to take this opportunity to say thanks for the helpful information you make available to a small tea room like ours. And, I want to tell you a little story about these wonderful scones and how they saved the day for us . . . We promised a wonderful charitable organization that I would provide 200 scones for their annual fundraising event last Saturday. I had planned to start baking earlier that week so that I would not be facing this project at the last minute!!! Well, as things go, come Thursday, I had ZERO scones ready for this group. When I received the “special order” that Debbie Anderson so kindly rushed for me, we were saved. It was soooo easy to add a little almond paste and bake up those 200 scones in no time. The ladies at the event loved them and they really like us now too!!! Please share our feedback and comments about the Victorian House Scones and their wonderful employees!!! Thanks again!!! Joan Susi, Victorian Tea Garden, Pittsburgh, PA

~ Congratulations on growing again! You do a “tea”rrific job of keeping us atop new tea trends and more.

I just wanted to let you know I just received my copy of The Tea House Times. My advertisement looks wonderful and the product review was very nice. Thank you so much for all the help in doing the ad. I also enjoyed reading the issue. Keep up the good work! - I had a subscripton 3 years ago - and I love the new glossy paper and guest articles! Karen Hattaway, Sweet Necessi-Teas

~Gayle, Just wanted to let you know, that I have been receiving calls from ladies that have seen our ad in The Tea House Times.  One was at a Red Hat event in Chicago and saw your Tea House Times, the other was a representative of Red Rose Tea offering us tea to serve and door prizes for our event.  So just let everyone know that advertising in The Tea House Times pays off.  I am sure we will get others who have seen our ad, but do not necessarily let us know they saw it in the Times. Thanks and we will continue to advertise each year. Harriet, Davenport Historical Society Quilts and Tea, Davenport, Florida

I want to express my thanks to you for all your kindness and willingness to help me whenever I have asked a question of any kind. You have been so helpful with your knowledge and experiences, and many a time have helped me more than you know. I am very happy that The Tea House Times publication is growing and becoming such an influential force in our world. You put a lot of time and hard work into it and it shows. Thanks, too, for the interesting write up on the World Tea Expo. I enjoyed your coverage on the events and displays very much. I’d like to get there. ~Just a note to say THANK YOU very much for my cutters. They are just adorable and will make our Tea Party a hit! You were just wonderful to watch to make sure my order went out in plenty of time for our party on the 7th. I love your online store and will be back to visit. Again thank you so much for taking care of my order and for staying in touch with me. Susan B., Foley, AL

Your magazine is so very nice, and I’ve been enjoying it this past year. Thank you for making it available to all of us who are tea drinkers both new and long time, like me. What would we do without it? That doesn’t bear thinking about! My cupboards runneth over with teapots. Their beauty is such a large part of our love and respect for taking tea, isn’t it? Please renew my subscription. Luane G, Corona, CA

~I receive The Tea House Times and I love it. If I do not have time to sit with a cup of tea when my issue comes in the mail, then I do not even browse through it. I wait for the time when I can devote as much time as possible to the magazine. I just can’t say enough about it. There are only 2 people that I even allow to hold it because I want it to stay perfect just like I receive them! I wish it would come every week. Rita Tellier, No. Kingstown, R.I.

~Hi Lady Gayle, Thank you for the books for my summer time reading. The Felicity line of American Girl books was very interesting. This young girl was from 1774. We as children of today didn’t have the responsibilities like the children in Felicity’s time did.  Let me give you a little background on the books I read. . . ~Your most recent issue, other back issues, and the cookbook I ordered all arrived and I love them!  (hence my new order for more back issues!)  I have spent a rainy day happily reading them.  Am also thoroughly enjoying your website!  Thanks again, Melissa

~I just LOVE your website!  I am hosting a Mother/Daughter tea and am thankful for finding your free party games.  Keep up the great work!  Julie

~Gayle - Your latest issues are wonderful.  Faith's story on Operation Teddy Bear was GREAT.  People like you and Grandma Rae have been a BIG help with Faith's Bear project, along with all the many others who have made contributions to Faith's bears to put a smile on our Troops faces in Iraq!  Thanks!  -- We also recently received an email from a Sergeant in Iraq with heartfelt thanks for all the care packages!  Annie Fassnacht
