Want to be a part of The Tea House Times Cookbook? If you are a tea business owner, tea room owner, tea party planner, tea party caterer, or a tea enthusiast with great Afternoon Tea Recipes and you want to share them, read below for instructions for submitting your recipes to be part of our incredible Afternoon Tea Recipes cookbook--THE BEST OF THE BEST!

Want a cookbook for your business, but don't have the time or nearly enough recipes to create a book large enough to sell?  Participate in The Tea House Times cookbook and share your most requested recipes with us and tea enthusiasts everywhere who will purchase the book from your tea business, other tea businesses, or directly from The Tea House Times.  Your business name/location will be listed in the book along with your recipe and also a list of contributors including other tea businesses. You will have an opportunity to purchase the cookbooks at a discounted rate and you may sell at your business or for a fundraiser.  Now you will finally have something to sell to your customers when they ask for the recipe for your most requested specialties.

Submit your recipes-- IT IS VERY EASY!   Do not send recipes to us.  You must type in your own recipe at the following website by following the directions below.  We have created a special account for our very own cookbook.  If you cannot type this on your own, ask a friend to help you.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR RECIPES:

Here is what you do: (Before beginning--read the part below that says "Before Beginning"--this is also available at the cookbook submission website)

1.  Go to www.gandrpublishing.com

2.  Click the blue box that says Web Submission

3.  Log in as a Contributor with password (DO NOT CLICK NEW ACCOUNT)

Login Name is: RecipeContributor      (no spaces--just like it is shown)

4  Your Contributor Password is: THTRecipes

5.  Read all directions carefully for submitting your recipe.  This is an automated process.  You must be very careful to type/enter your recipe correctly.  You must double check the ingredients and spellings, etc.  Only you can assure that your recipe has been submitted properly and completely.  We will not test recipes, so you must be sure to list everything correctly.

6.  When you enter each recipe, you will choose from a drop down menu of categories including:

Finger Sandwiches~Plain/Savory/etc.

Scones~Plain/Savory/Sweet

Sweets~petit fours/cakes/breads/desserts

Soups for Afternoon Tea Luncheons

Salads for Afternoon Tea Luncheons

Miscellaneous~Jams/Curds/Seasonal/etc.

Children~Scones/Sandwiches/Sweets for kids

7.  With each recipe you will fill in the section for Contributor.  The first 3 lines of this section will be printed in the cookbook next to the recipe you have submitted.  Please list your name, business name, city/state (or website) for the first 3 lines.  Then enter in your contact information so we can contact you about your entry--phone number, email address, website, etc. (If you prefer, send us a separate email with your contact information---Click here to email.  )

8.  You may ONLY submit recipes that are your own original recipes -- not printed or published elsewhere.

9.  When you are finished typing in your recipe, click FINISHED.  You can then take another look at your recipe and then click SUBMIT RECIPE. You can submit up to 3 recipes.  If you have any difficulties, read below, and contact us. Thanks. (Please note: you will notice a few lines regarding proofreading errors and supposedly a charge to fix errors.  Just ignore that.  We are acting as editor/proofreader, so you will not need to worry about that.  Just enter your recipe as accurately as possible, listing all ingredients and clear instructions in a paragraph format.  We will proofread for spelling and punctuation accuracy.)

READ BEFORE BEGINNING:

This cookbook will be a compilation of BEST Afternoon Tea Recipes from Tea Room Owners, Tea Party Planners, and Tea Enthusiasts. Overall this book is not a fundraiser, but when it is completed, you may use the copies YOU purchase towards a fundraiser for your own community or favorite organization. You will be able to purchase books for yourself and as gifts for your friends and family or to sell at your place of business. Purchasing details will be available from The Tea House Times soon (www.theteahousetimes.com or Click here to email.  )

The Recipe/s you submit MUST BE YOUR OWN ORIGINAL RECIPE--not previously published in any manner.  PLEASE be sure to double check your ingredients and PROOFREAD your recipe before finishing.

When entering your recipe, where it says Contributor--the first 3 lines will be printed with your recipe. Please list all applicable info: your name, business name, city/state for first 3 lines, followed by phone number, mailing address, and email address, and website if you have a business. Follow all directions carefully at the recipe submission page. Use proper format and abbreviations as recommended. Use the exact same information for Contributor for each of your (up to 3) allowed recipe entries.

At this time we are limiting submissions to 3 per individual/business. Choose a category from the drop down menu on the recipe submission page.

Thank you for submitting. When final books are available for purchase, you will be notified. You may pre-sell cookbooks at your shop or business when more details are available regarding pricing etc.

This project is organized and will be edited by The Tea House Times. We reserve the right to edit and/or remove recipes for any reason. If too many recipes are submitted under a particular category we will also remove some. You will not receive payment in any form for participation in this book other than profits you make from selling the books on your own (and the business you might receive from being listed as a contributor). A list of contributors may be included in the book prior to publishing, so be sure to list your business along with your contributor name & details. We thank you for your participation.

If you have any questions or wish to send us comments about recipes you have submitted, please contact The Tea House Times by EMAIL: Click here to email. You may also send to our email suggestions for book title and photos for consideration for the cover. Thank you.
